Refine Dengue Polynomial Model
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a 20-page IB Mathematics: Analysis & Applications Internal Assessment that models dengue fever transmission in Colombian cities with polynomial functions. The first draft is complete; the only major task left is strengthening the analytical model. Specifically, I need clearer representation of transmission patterns in the fitted polynomial and a rigorous calculation and discussion of percentage errors against the real case-count data already compiled.
All graphs were built in Desmos, and those files plus the raw weekly incidence data and my annotated draft (with examiner comments) are ready to share. Your job is to:
• adjust or re-fit the polynomial(s) in Desmos,
• compute error metrics (percentage error, possible R², etc.),
• weave the improved analysis into the narrative so the argument flows,
• export updated graphs (image & Desmos link) and integrate them into the document,
• deliver the polished, submission-ready IA in both Google docs and PDF, within IB formatting guidelines.
When you reply, include examples of past quantitative or IA work that demonstrate comparable modelling and write-up quality. And if we do the work ill be able to share IB IA examples and more details
