Reconcile PDF Bank Statement
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
The sample bank statement I’ll share with you sits in a single-page PDF and lists fewer than fifty transactions. At the moment the starting balance is wrong, so every running balance that follows is also out of sync with the closing account summary.
Here’s what I need done: adjust the opening balance, flow the correction through each line, insert the December payroll deposit once I send you the exact figure, and confirm that the final running balance ties out perfectly to the summary box. All subtotals, page totals and the grand total must reconcile down to the cent.
Work in any tool you like for the math—Excel, Google Sheets, scripting, etc.—but return two items:
• the corrected statement as a polished, print-ready PDF matching the original layout and formatting, and
• the calculation sheet that shows every step so I can audit the changes easily.
Accuracy is critical; please double-check rounding and date order before you hand it back.
