Python Coder, Personal Projects
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m looking for a versatile Python developer to tackle an ongoing stream of small, personal-use projects. The exact tasks vary—one week I might need a quick data-grabber that scrapes a few sites, the next I could be thinking about a script to automate some home-office chores—but the common thread is clean, well-commented code I can run on my own machine.
Because these projects are strictly for my personal workflow, I value readability and simple setup over fancy frameworks. If you’re comfortable writing standalone scripts in plain Python (occasionally with libraries like requests, BeautifulSoup, pandas, or even a bit of GPIO/IoT if we wander into home-automation territory), we’ll get along great.
I live in Bay County, FL and would prefer someone close enough to sit down over coffee when a project needs quick white-boarding, but I’m perfectly happy to collaborate online most of the time.
Typical deliverable:
• A .py file (or small set) that performs the agreed task, plus a brief README explaining any dependencies and how to run it.
