Public Health Data Analysis and Report
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I’m looking for an experienced public health professional or data analyst to support a project analyzing and combining data from 9 suburbs into a single regional dataset.
Scope of work:
Combine data from 9 suburbs into one dataset representing the entire region.
Identify and summarize the prevalence of health determinants (e.g., socioeconomic factors, housing, employment, access to services).
Calculate percentages and prevalence rates of these determinants for the combined region.
Conduct correlation analysis to explore links between key indicators and mental health–related outcomes (with suburb-specific analysis for mental health).
Provide interpretation of findings, highlighting trends, disparities, and potential public health implications.
Develop evidence-informed recommendations to guide regional health planning and service delivery.
Key deliverables:
A combined regional dataset.
A summary report with:
Prevalence of health determinants (percentages and rates).
Correlation analysis results and interpretations.
Suburb-specific mental health findings.
Practical recommendations for improving mental health outcomes and addressing social determinants.
Visuals or charts to support the findings (preferred but not essential).
Ideal skills and experience:
Background in public health, epidemiology, or health data analysis.
Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., R, SPSS, Excel, Power BI).
Experience interpreting social determinants of health and mental health data.
Ability to provide clear, actionable recommendations.
If interested, please include examples of similar work or a brief description of your approach in your proposal.
