Prototype Product Research Study

Job ID: 40376707

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have a working prototype that now needs a thorough research study before we move any further. The project is, by definition, a Research study, and the product is firmly in its Prototype stage, so every insight you uncover will directly influence final feature selection, positioning, and launch timing.

The task is to design and run an end-to-end study that tells me:
• Who the most receptive audience is and why
• How people interact with the prototype in real-world scenarios
• Where the competitive landscape leaves room for clear differentiation

Deliverables
• A concise research plan outlining objectives, methodology, sample size, and timelines
• Data collection instruments (survey scripts, interview guides, usability test scenarios, etc.)
• Raw data files plus cleaned datasets where applicable
• An analysis report distilling findings into clear, actionable recommendations
• A brief slide deck that I can share internally with stakeholders

Success criteria
• Methodology directly matches the agreed objectives
• Participant pool reflects target segments we identify together
• Insights are supported by verifiable data, not anecdote
• Final report is structured, visually clear, and ready for executive review

Feel free to propose the mix of methods—market surveys, moderated user sessions, competitor feature mapping, or a blended approach—that you believe will yield the strongest evidence. Tools such as Qualtrics, Lookback, or similar are welcome if they streamline collection or analysis.

I’m available to answer product-specific questions, schedule prototype access, and approve your research plan quickly so we can start gathering data right away.
