Political Leaders Data & Stata
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have already outlined the full research design for a quantitative study on political leaders in democratic regimes. Your role is limited to data construction and model execution; I will handle all interpretation and write-up myself.
Data work
– Compile and merge V-Dem (RoW 2024) with existing leader and election files.
– Code each leader’s system type (presidential vs. parliamentary) and flag re-election outcomes.
Analysis environment
Everything must be done in Stata; please structure the do-files so I can replicate every step seamlessly on my end.
Deliverables
• A fully cleaned, merged dataset ready for analysis
• Well-commented Stata code reflecting every transformation and model step
• Regression output (tables and .log files)
Scope boundaries
No hypothesis development, theoretical framing, or interpretation is needed—strictly data prep and running the pre-specified models.
