Perfume Ingredient Data Extraction

Job ID: 40130020

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

1. Identify the perfume on the blog

Take One Thing Off (Claire Vukcevic)

Start here: https://takeonethingoff.com/blog/2021/12/01/the-attar-guide-floral-reviews-0-a/

Show me the first entry. We'll fine tune from there.

Focus: attars, naturals, artisanal perfumery

For each perfume mentioned:

Record perfume name

Perfumer / brand

Blog Source + Screenshot of the Item on the Blog + URL

This is the discovery step.

2. Check if it exists on major perfume websites

Search BaseNotes and Fragrantica.

If found:

Paste the link in the Notes / Where Found column.

Mark Exists Elsewhere = Yes.

If not found:

Mark Exists Elsewhere = No.

3. Extract ingredients regardless

For every perfume, whether it exists elsewhere or not:

Extract only ingredients explicitly mentioned in the blog text.

Normalize obvious spelling differences.

Do not infer or guess.

Each ingredient differently. This eventually will become a searchable database..

4. Build the searchable list

Each perfume = one row with:

Perfume name

Perfumer / brand

Extracted ingredients

Exists Elsewhere (Yes/No)

Notes / Where Found (links if applicable)

Link to the notes and screenshot number
