PDF Text Conversion & Cleanup
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I have a set of PDFs that contain pure text. I need every line transferred into Excel while preserving the exact layout, fonts and spacing you see in the original files—no deviations. Once the text lands in the spreadsheet, I also want it scrubbed: remove any duplicate rows that appear during extraction and correct obvious typos or miss-spelled words so the sheet is publication-ready.
You are free to use Adobe Acrobat, Power Query, Python (tabula, camelot, pdfplumber) or any other tool you are comfortable with, as long as the final workbook matches the look of the PDFs and is error-free.
Deliverables
• An Excel file for each source PDF, mirrors original formatting exactly
• Clean data: duplicates removed, spelling and basic grammatical errors fixed
• A brief note describing any non-trivial corrections you made
I will share the PDFs once we start; accuracy and a quick turnaround are what matter most.
