PDF to Excel Data Entry

I have a batch of PDF files—clean, typed text rather than handwriting—that need to be transferred accurately into an Excel spreadsheet. Each PDF contains multiple sections of information that must end up in clearly labeled columns so the data can be sorted and filtered later.

Scope of work
• Open each PDF and copy the required text exactly as it appears.
• Enter that text into the corresponding rows and columns of a master Excel workbook I will provide.
• Preserve paragraph breaks where relevant, but strip any hidden formatting that may travel over from the PDF.
• Double-check spelling, punctuation, and line placement before saving.

Acceptance criteria
1. Every PDF supplied is represented in the spreadsheet, page-for-page and line-for-line.
2. No mismatched or truncated characters; numeric values remain numbers, not text strings.
3. File returned in .xlsx format, ready for immediate use—no cell-protection or password locks.

This is a straightforward data-entry task suited to someone who is detail-oriented and comfortable moving between PDF readers and Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets, provided the file is ultimately delivered as an .xlsx). Turnaround time is flexible, though I’d like visible progress each day so I can spot-check for consistency.
