Organize Mixed Excel Data

Job ID: 39813657

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I have an Excel workbook filled with rows that combine text and numeric fields, and it has become unwieldy. Your task is straight-forward: sort and organize this mixed data so it is easy to read, filter, and use for quick look-ups.

The data is already in spreadsheet format, so you can work directly in Excel—or another tool that exports cleanly back to .xlsx—without any importing hassle. I need the records arranged in the logical order I’ll specify once we start (e.g., alphabetical on one column, ascending or descending on another, grouped by category, etc.), with any blank rows pushed to the bottom and basic formatting made consistent.

Deliverables:
• The updated .xlsx file with the data fully sorted and neatly organized.
• A short note (one paragraph is fine) summarizing what you did and any issues you spotted while working.

If you’re comfortable sorting and structuring mixed text-and-number datasets inside Excel, this should be quick work.
