Online Academic Research Support -- 2
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I need a detail-oriented assistant to perform online academic research in the Natural Sciences. Your job is to locate, evaluate, and organise peer-reviewed sources that answer a set of research questions I will provide on project start.
You will mine reputable databases such as Web of Science, PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar, and any discipline-specific repositories that surface high-impact journal articles, conference papers, and authoritative preprints. For each relevant publication, capture full citation data, a short abstract or summary, the key findings in two or three sentences, and a link to the original text (PDF or DOI preferred). Accuracy and traceability are crucial; I must be able to access every source you cite without paywalled surprises.
Deliverables
• A spreadsheet (Excel or Google Sheets) listing 50–70 curated references with the fields mentioned above.
• A concise synthesis (1–2 pages) highlighting overarching trends, gaps, and notable contradictions in the literature you collected.
• A brief note on your search strategy—databases used, keywords, and filters—so I can replicate or expand the search later.
Acceptance criteria: all sources are published within the last ten years unless pre-approved, every citation is verifiable, and summaries are written in clear, original language.
