Navisworks Surface Area MTO
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I already have the Navisworks Manage model on my laptop and I need the surface areas of all walls and floors extracted so I can order the right amount of material. Accuracy is key, so the take-off must be broken down by building section rather than one big total.
You’ll connect remotely, set up the Quantification Workbook (or an equivalent workflow you prefer), create the search/selection sets for walls and floors, and generate the square-metre results. Once everything is confirmed, export the data—ideally to Excel—so I can hand it straight to procurement. A short walkthrough of the steps you took is important to me because I want to repeat the process on future models without having to call for help each time.
Deliverables:
• Excel (or CSV) sheet listing wall and floor surface areas, organised by section.
• The Navisworks Quantification or search-set file you used so I can reload it later.
• A brief set of replication notes or a screen-recording showing the workflow.
If you’re fluent with Navisworks Manage quantification tools and can jump on a quick remote session, let’s get started right away.
