National FMCG Food Research Insights Needed
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need a deep-dive study of the Food & Beverages segment of our country’s FMCG market. The work must blend solid consumer research with a clear reading of the wider market, so that by the end I can see both what shoppers feel today and where category demand is heading next.
Scope
• Consumer side – gauge satisfaction drivers, pain points, frequency of purchase, preferred price points and emerging taste shifts. Primary data collection (online panels, in-store intercepts or phone) is essential; I’ll rely on you to recommend the most cost-effective mix and execute it.
• Market side – size the category, map growth pockets, and benchmark the leading brands against challenger labels. Secondary sources such as Nielsen, Euromonitor, Statista or government trade data are welcome, but they must be triangulated with your own fresh findings.
Key expectations
• National coverage with clear regional breakouts.
• Clean datasets (CSV or XLS), actionable charts, and a concise slide deck that highlights insights, not just numbers.
• A brief methodology note so I can reuse or scale the study later.
• Findings must be delivered in clear, straightforward language; I don’t need academic jargon.
Acceptance criteria
1. Minimum sample size and confidence level agreed upfront.
2. All graphs/tables sourced and traceable.
3. Executive summary limited to two pages with headline recommendations.
If you regularly work with SPSS, Tableau, Power BI or similar analysis tools, mention it—visual clarity will weigh in your favour. Timeline and milestones are flexible; propose what you believe is realistic to collect, analyse and present robust national insights.
