I have 1–2 years of historical monthly demand figures from a manufacturing setting and I need a clear, quantitative forecast for the next period. There are no identifiable seasonal patterns in the data, so the focus is on comparing classic time-series techniques side by side.

Here is exactly what I want to see in the final Excel workbook:
• Separate, transparent worksheets for each method—Naïve, Moving Average, Exponential Smoothing, Trend Projection, and simple Linear Regression—showing every intermediate step rather than just final numbers.
• A concise summary table that lines up each method’s forecast, error measures (MAE, MAPE, or similar), and your overall ranking of the techniques.
• A short, plain-language explanation inside the file (or as a linked Word/PDF if you prefer) outlining why one method outperformed the others and which approach I should rely on for operational planning.
