Mixed-Data Excel Cleaning Project

I have several Excel workbooks that combine text fields with numerical columns and the structure is far from uniform. Headers differ, dates use mixed formats, duplicates are scattered throughout, and some key cells are empty or mis-typed. I need the whole collection cleaned so I can run reliable analysis straight away—no surprises, no hidden errors.

The job calls for someone comfortable working end-to-end inside Excel (Power Query, formulas, or lightweight VBA if it speeds things up). You’ll be free to stage the process however you like as long as the final files open natively in Excel with all numeric integrity preserved.

What I expect to receive
• A single, fully cleaned and consolidated workbook (or clearly named set of workbooks if separation is essential).
• Consistent headers, data types, and date formats; duplicates removed; blank or invalid entries either filled by agreed rules or flagged.
• A brief change log or notes sheet summarising what was fixed and any assumptions you had to make.

Acceptance criteria
The workbook should pass a spot-check on 10 random rows per sheet without exposing new errors, all formulas must calculate correctly, and columns must sort/filter without type conflicts.
