Mixed Data Adjustment & Cleaning
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I’m working with a single dataset that combines free-form text fields and several columns of numbers stored in Excel/CSV files. The immediate priority is to clean the text portion—removing inconsistencies, stripping unwanted characters, standardising case, and generally making it analytics-ready.
Once the text is tidy, I also need the numeric columns reviewed so everything lines up correctly after the adjustments (for example, no orphaned rows, misaligned indexes, or formatting glitches caused by the text clean-up).
Deliverables:
• One consolidated, fully cleaned Excel or CSV file that contains both the corrected text and the verified numeric data.
• A brief change log or set of notes that explains what you did so I can reproduce the steps later if needed.
If you’re comfortable wrangling mixed datasets in Excel, Python, or any other tool you prefer, I’d love to get this turned around quickly and accurately.
