Merge Excel sheets to make 1 file
Budget: $10 – $50 AUD
I have more than five Excel worksheets packed with customer data that I need to bring together into one reliable master list. Most columns are the same, but a few differ in name or order, so the job involves more than a simple copy-paste.
Here’s what I’m after:
• Review every sheet, map columns that line up, and flag those that don’t.
• Harmonize field names, data formats, and date or phone-number styles so everything matches.
• De-duplicate records intelligently (same customer appearing on several sheets but with small spelling variations).
• Merge the cleaned data into a single worksheet and sort it logically.
• Deliver a repeatable solution—Power Query steps or a VBA macro—so I can drop in fresh sheets later and hit refresh rather than rebuilding from scratch.
• Provide a brief set of instructions or comments explaining how the process works.
The ones named after months are one type, inactive 1 type, current 1 type
I want them to all be on one sheet with all data, but in rows that are the same where possible, in particular the names
write " EXCEL " if you can do the work
