Matrix YouTube Performance Tracker Development
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
MASTER TASK PACK
Role: Matrix Tracker and Reverse Engineer Objective: Make virality repeatable and scalable
ROLE OVERVIEW
You are responsible for measuring, decoding, and extracting instructions from YouTube videos so the channel can systematically grow from thousands of views to millions and beyond.
You do NOT create content. You do NOT edit videos. You do NOT give opinions.
You measure, compare, and output one clear instruction per video.
CORE DELIVERABLES
You will deliver three things:
1 A filled Matrix Tracker table for every video 2 A full reverse engineering of the 150K video 3 One instruction per video that tells exactly what to do next (Send it for the last 12 videos only, plus the 150K breakout.Use this YouTube channel link that i will provide and analyse the most recent 12 videos plus the 150K breakout video)
All work must be written and structured. No voice notes. No explanations outside the required fields.
PART 1 – MATRIX TRACKER (MANDATORY FOR EVERY VIDEO)
You will fill ONE ROW per video in the table below.
All early signal fields must be filled within the first 60 minutes of upload. Late entries are invalid.
TABLE: MATRIX TRACKER
Copy this exactly into Google Sheets.
SECTION A – VIDEO IDENTITY
Column fields Video ID Upload date Platform Video length seconds Format type (talking, POV, chaos, demo, explanation)
SECTION B – FIRST 3 SECONDS
These must be literal and precise.
Column fields First frame description (exact visual) Motion in first 1 second (yes or no) Human face in first frame (yes or no) Immediate emotion triggered (fear, curiosity, surprise, stress, relief, flex) Exact spoken words in first 2 seconds Visual contradiction present (yes or no)
SECTION C – EXPECTATION GAP
This section is critical.
Column fields What the viewer THINKS the video is about What the video is ACTUALLY about Expectation gap strength (low, medium, high) Is the gap resolved by second 7 (yes or no)
SECTION D – EARLY SIGNALS
Collected manually from YouTube Studio.
Column fields Views at 10 minutes Swipe away percentage at 10 minutes Views at 30 minutes Average view duration at 30 minutes Views at 60 minutes Likes at 60 minutes Comments at 60 minutes
SECTION E – DECISION METRICS
This is your interpretation based on data, not guesses.
Column fields Early acceleration (flat, rising, spiking) Algorithm confidence (low, medium, high) Push threshold crossed (yes or no)
SECTION F – OUTCOME
Measured later.
Column fields Views at 24 hours Shares per 1,000 views Saves per 1,000 views
SECTION G – MATRIX VERDICT
This is the most important section.
Column fields Primary success factor (hook, gap, emotion, clarity, timing) Primary failure factor (weak gap, slow start, confusion, low contrast) ONE instruction for next video (one sentence only)
The ONE instruction must be a concrete action that can be applied to the very next video.
Example Increase expectation gap in first 2 seconds by showing outcome before context
PART 2 – 150K VIDEO REVERSE ENGINEERING (PRIORITY ONE)
You will complete this as a written report.
STEP 1 – FALSE PROMISE
Write one paragraph answering: What did viewers think they were about to watch in the first second?
STEP 2 – REVEAL MOMENT
Answer precisely: At what second did the viewer realise this was different? Write the timestamp and explain why.
STEP 3 – EMOTIONAL SWITCH
Answer clearly: What emotion did the video start with? What emotion did it switch to? Why did that switch force retention?
STEP 4 – NON OBVIOUS TRUTH
Write ONE sentence. Something unexpected but true that the video communicated.
This sentence becomes a reusable content engine.
STEP 5 – REPEATABILITY SCORE
Rate from 1 to 10.
Explain briefly: What must stay the same? What is allowed to change?
PART 3 – OUTPUT FORMAT (VERY IMPORTANT)
For every video, including the 150K one, you must output:
Matrix verdict One sentence instruction
Nothing else. No essays. No opinions. ## WHAT HAPPENS NEXT (PROCESS)
1 You fill the Matrix Tracker for all videos 2 You complete the 150K reverse engineering 3 You send all results to me
