Matrix Price List Conversion

I have roughly 4,000 SKUs sitting in a matrix-style spreadsheet (one part number spread across many columns and rows). I need everything reshaped into a clean, single-row-per-part layout in Excel.

Each new line has to auto-calculate its selling price by reading the product’s category and applying a variable markup rate that I can change whenever needed. At the moment markup is the only driver, but it would be helpful if the workbook structure could easily accept other levers such as discount or tax rates down the road without a full rebuild.

Once the initial 4,000 lines are translated, I need to be able to drop in additional SKUs manually and have them pick up the same formulas and validations automatically.

Deliverables
• An Excel workbook containing the 4,000 converted items, with clear, maintainable formulas (no hard-coded prices).
• A hidden or clearly marked control area where I can update markup rates per category.
• A hidden or clearly marked control area where I can complete a sweeping price increase for full catalog (ex. All prices increase by 10%, rounted to the nearest dollar, -0.01 to create a "xx.99" price)
• Simple step-by-step notes showing how to add a new item manually and verify the price and converted product number populates correctly.

Please keep everything native to Excel—no external macros or add-ins unless they ship with Office.
