Marketing Data Excel Dashboard

I need an interactive Excel dashboard that lets me explore our marketing data in real time. All information lives in a database, so the workbook has to pull data directly from that source – no manual imports. Once connected, I’d like to slice and drill down into campaign performance, spot trends, and compare time periods at a glance.
Here’s what matters to me: the layout must be clean and intuitive, KPIs should auto-refresh with one click, and underlying queries need to remain editable so I can tweak them later. If you prefer Power Query, VBA, or another Excel-native method to establish the link, that’s fine as long as it stays within the standard Office environment (no third-party add-ins).
