Market Analysis for Compostable Packaging Suppliers

I am mapping the Australian market for food-grade, fully compostable packaging that can house single-serve electrolyte sachets as well as a premium multi-unit outer pack. The focus is strictly on suppliers that already meet FSANZ guidelines and can show valid ISO certification; anything short of that will be excluded.

Your task is to identify and compare qualified manufacturers, then present the business case for each one. I will rely on your findings to move straight into sampling, so the information must be clear, current and verifiable.

Please capture, at minimum, the following for every viable supplier:

• Product scope – inner sachet film and outer retail pack, both certified compostable and FSANZ compliant
• Minimum order quantity (MoQ) for each item
• Customisation capabilities: print colours, finishes, sizing, tear-notch options, etc.
• Detailed pricing: one-time tooling or plate fees, unit costs at two or more volume breaks, sample production charges, and any freight or inland transport estimates
• Lead times for R&D samples and for first commercial run
• Available certifications (FSANZ, ISO numbers, and any compostability standards such as EN 13432 if offered)
• Contact person and factory location

Present the data in a concise comparison spreadsheet (Excel or Google Sheets) and attach scanned certificates or direct download links. A short written summary highlighting the top three candidates and your recommendation will complete the deliverable.

I will consider the project finished once all certificates are verified and pricing tables balance against the quoted MoQs.
