Manufacturing Budget Forecasting Model

Job ID: 40486052

Budget: $50 – $0 AUD

I need a clear, data-driven forecast for our next production cycle. You will start with the information I already have—detailed manufacturing cost records and past sales pricing—and turn it into a forward-looking model that applies a dynamic pricing strategy instead of a simple cost-plus or purely market-oriented approach.

The forecast must isolate every major cost bucket: raw materials, labour, and overheads. I want to see how each element moves under different volume or price scenarios, and how that flows through to margin and cash requirements. The final file should let me adjust key assumptions quickly so I can test best-, base-, and worst-case outcomes without rewriting formulas.

Deliverables
• A fully linked forecasting workbook (Excel, Google Sheets, or a well-documented Python notebook) that:
– pulls in the current manufacturing cost and sales pricing data I’ll provide,
– applies dynamic price rules I can tweak,
– outputs monthly and quarterly cost, revenue, margin, and cash-flow projections.
• Brief written notes explaining the model logic and any macros or scripts used.

Acceptance criteria
The sheet must calculate correctly when I change unit volumes, cost inflation, or target margin; no #REF or circular errors; and all assumptions grouped in one place for easy editing.
