MSCI EM Daily Price Dataset
Budget: $10 – $70 USD
I need a clean, well-structured Excel file containing daily closing prices for every constituent stock across the 24 MSCI Emerging-Market countries for the last five years (rolling 1 800+ calendar days). Tickers must be matched to the index at each point in time, so changes in membership are reflected accurately—no survivorship bias.
Please pull the data from a reliable source (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, FactSet, AlphaVantage or another verifiable feed) and include the following in separate worksheets:
• “Prices” – one row per trading day, one column per ticker, values fully aligned on their local market calendars
• “Meta” – ticker, company name, country, currency, sector, dates of index inclusion/exclusion
• “Index-level” – end-of-day MSCI EM total-return, price-return and net-return series over the same period for quick reconciliation
Acceptance criteria
• No missing dates within each local market’s trading calendar; non-trading days left blank, not forward-filled
• Returns calculated from your price sheet must reconcile to MSCI EM official index returns within a 5 bps tolerance
• File passes a random spot check of at least 100 securities against the original data source
Let me know which feed you plan to use and the turnaround time you can commit to.
