MBA Finance Analytics Project

Job ID: 40463408

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I am wrapping up an MBA capstone that mixes Finance and Business Analytics, and I need a seasoned analyst to step in from data collection all the way to the final slide deck.

Scope
The focus is on Consumer Behavior data drawn from the banking sector. Your first task will be to locate reputable, publicly available datasets (or propose paid sources worth the fee) that help explain how consumers interact with banking products and services. Once the data is in place, I expect a clean descriptive analysis: trends, patterns, and any notable anomalies that could influence strategic recommendations for a bank. Think summary statistics, segment comparisons, correlations—nothing predictive, no risk modelling; clarity and insight are the goals.

Tools
Excel is our baseline, but I welcome the use of Power BI, Tableau, Python (pandas, matplotlib, seaborn) or R if they speed up the workflow and sharpen the visuals. Whatever you choose, the final files must open flawlessly on a standard Office 365 setup.

Deliverables
• Cleaned raw dataset with a short data-dictionary
• Excel (or equivalent) workbook containing all descriptive analyses and formulas clearly traceable
• 3–5 high-impact visualizations ready for publication (PNG + source)
• Concise written report (≈2,500 words) that ties insights back to banking strategy and cites every data source in APA format
• PowerPoint presentation (≈12 slides) summarising objectives, method, key findings, recommendations, and next steps

Acceptance criteria
1. All figures replicate without errors when sheets are refreshed.
2. Narrative flows logically from problem statement to recommendation.
3. Formatting complies with typical MBA guidelines: 1.5 line spacing, 11-pt font, standard margins; slide deck uses a clean, professional template.
4. Every claim in the report is backed by a visual or statistic derived from the provided data.

Timeline is negotiable but I would like a first look at the data and initial insights within one week, with the full package delivered shortly after. If you have a strong track record in finance or banking analytics and can translate numbers into crisp, board-ready stories, let’s get started.
