Longitudinal Profile Calculations & CAD

I have a small geodesy assignment centred on producing a longitudinal profile. All source information will be supplied; your role is to run the necessary calculations and present the results as a set of concise drawings in AutoCAD. Only basic outlines are needed—no dense labelling or extensive annotation—so the focus stays on accuracy of the computed elevations, chainages and resulting slope representation rather than graphical polish.

What I expect at hand-over:
• A clear calculation sheet (Excel or PDF) showing each step you took to derive elevations, distances and slopes.
• A DWG file containing the longitudinal profile drawn to scale with the computed points plotted and joined, ready for my own annotation if required.

Please keep your workflow transparent so I can follow or replicate it later, and feel free to suggest the most efficient method or AutoCAD tools you prefer to reach the result.
