Local Fishery Assistant Needed in Maluku, Indonesia (Ambon/Ternate/Seram)

【Project Description】
We are looking to hire a local resident in Maluku Province (Ambon, Ternate, Seram, or nearby islands) to assist us with collecting field information about the hairtail (ikan layur / ikan pita /带鱼) fishing situation.
The tasks are simple but require basic communication with local fishermen and fish market vendors.
【Main Tasks】
Visit local fish markets and/or fishing ports
Talk to fishermen or vendors about hairtail (ikan layur) catch volumes, seasons, and prices
Take photos of the fish and fishing boats
Write brief reports (in Bahasa Indonesia or English)
Report weekly findings via WhatsApp or email
【Requirements】
Must currently live in Maluku Province, preferably Ambon, Ternate, Seram, or nearby islands
Speaks Bahasa Indonesia (basic English is a plus)
Has smartphone with camera and WhatsApp
Reliable and willing to work independently
【Payment】
USD $10–15 per day depending on performance and effort
Paid weekly or biweekly via Freelancer or other method (e.g. Dana, GoPay, bank transfer, etc.)
【Duration】
1-month project, extendable if successful
Working 3–5 days per week, flexible schedule
