Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Report for LDPE products (TP60 & TP110)
Project Description
ReCirkel is a sustainability-focused company working with plastic recycling and circular material solutions. We are looking for an experienced Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) specialist to prepare a professional LCA report for two of our products:
TP60
TP110
The LCA will be used for internal analysis, customer communication, and sustainability documentation, and should follow recognized international standards.
Scope of Work
The freelancer will be responsible for: Conducting a full or cradle-to-gate LCA (scope to be agreed)
Data collection guidance (we will provide process and material data where available)
Modelling of:
Raw materials
Recycling process
Energy use
Transportation (if relevant)
Impact assessment (e.g. CO₂ footprint, GWP, and other relevant indicators)
Clear assumptions, system boundaries, and methodology
Delivering a written LCA report suitable for professional and commercial use
Standards & Methodology
The LCA should be compliant with: ISO 14040 / ISO 14044
Use of recognized databases and tools (e.g. SimaPro, GaBi, OpenLCA, or similar)
Please specify:
Which software and databases you use
Any limitations or assumptions required
Deliverables
Final LCA report (PDF)
Summary of key results (1–2 pages)
Optional: visual charts or tables for CO₂ and impact results
Required Experience
Proven experience conducting LCAs, preferably for:
Plastics
Recycling
Circular economy products
Familiarity with ISO LCA standards
Ability to communicate results clearly in English
Examples of previous LCA reports (or anonymized samples)
Nice to Have
Experience with recycled plastics
Experience working with European sustainability requirements
Ability to advise on improving environmental performance
