Investment Reporting Dashboard Model Build
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I need a sophisticated investment-reporting model built entirely in Excel. The file will consolidate data across all portfolios, roll everything up by total asset class, and then drill back down to the asset / fund level.
Core requirements
• Apply accurate Total Return formulas to every asset line so performance is consistent from security level through to the consolidated view.
• Produce an at-a-glance dashboard inside the workbook that surfaces key metrics and trends. The dashboard must include interactive Pie charts, Bar charts, and Line graphs.
• Create a concise “Summary with key insights” sheet for each asset or fund, highlighting allocation, performance versus benchmark, and any variances that warrant attention.
• Ensure the entire model refreshes cleanly when new monthly data is pasted in—no hard-coded ranges.
Acceptance criteria
1. One Excel workbook containing:
– Consolidation Report (portfolio roll-up)
– Total Asset Class overview
– Asset / Fund level summary sheets with insights
– Dashboard tab with the three chart types and KPI widgets
2. Calculations and links clearly documented so maintenance is straightforward.
3. File delivered error-free and ready for real data import.
