Ice Hockey Performance Analyst Needed

Job ID: 40568350

Budget: €250 – €750 EUR

I need a performance analyst who can break down ice hockey games with a strong blend of data and video expertise. The main focus is performance analysis, zeroing in on three key areas:

• Athlete statistics – pull skating speed, time on ice, shot quality, Corsi/Fenwick, and similar metrics, then translate the numbers into simple insights coaches can act on.
• Game strategy – dissect forecheck and back-check patterns, zone entries/exits, line match-ups, and special-teams setups to reveal what drives results.
• Training efficiency – connect practice data to game performance so we know which drills move the needle.

Preferred tools include Hudl, Sportscode, R or Python for custom metrics, and Tableau or Power BI for clear dashboards, but I’m open to whatever workflow delivers reliable insights fast.

Deliverables I’m looking for:
1. A game-by-game analytics report with key takeaways.
2. Interactive or slide-based dashboards that visualize trends over the season.
3. Short, timestamped video clips (with telestration when helpful) illustrating strategic points.
4. A concise recommendations sheet highlighting actions for players and coaches.

First two recorded games should serve as the initial sample set; after that, we can agree on ongoing cadence. If you have a proven pipeline or fresh ideas to streamline the process, let’s make it happen.
