Hypothesis-Focused SEM Model
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I have a cleaned set of survey data and a series of theoretical hypotheses that need to be put to the test through a well-specified Structural Equation Model. Your task is to translate those hypotheses into an SEM that is statistically sound, evaluate its overall and component fit, and deliver a concise report that tells the story behind the numbers.
What I’m providing:
• The raw survey dataset and a brief describing each construct and its indicators
• A conceptual diagram outlining the hypothesised relationships
What I need back:
• An SEM that directly addresses my goal of testing hypotheses, built on the survey data
• All relevant fit indices (χ², CFI, TLI, RMSEA, SRMR, etc.) and a short justification of any model modifications
• A diagram of the final model, clearly labelled
• A written report (3–5 pages) summarising the modelling steps, key results, interpretation, and any limitations
Tool flexibility: I’m comfortable if you build the model in IBM SPSS AMOS, R with the lavaan package, or Mplus—use whichever platform lets you work most efficiently, so long as you include the syntax/output so I can replicate the analysis.
Acceptance criteria:
1. Model converges and meets commonly accepted fit thresholds.
2. Report answers each stated hypothesis with effect sizes, significance levels, and practical interpretation.
3. All code, syntax, and output files are delivered in reproducible form.
If this aligns with your expertise, I’d love to see a brief note on your SEM experience and an estimated turnaround time.
