Home Loan Statement Audit
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
I have the full set of PDF statements for my mortgage—from the day it started with the first bank right through to its refinance with the second. What I need is a clear, spreadsheet-ready breakdown that shows two things for the entire life of the loan:
1. Every cent that has flowed to the bank (regular repayments, lump sums—everything that reduced the balance).
2. Every redraw or cash-out transaction that came back to me.
All statements are already saved as PDFs and cover the loan in full, so there’s no missing data. I simply need someone comfortable extracting figures from bank statements, organising them in Excel or Google Sheets, and double-checking totals so the numbers reconcile perfectly.
The finished workbook should include:
• A chronological list of transactions with date, description, amount in, amount out, running balance.
• A summary tab that totals repayments and redraws (overall and by financial year).
• Any anomalies or unclear items flagged for me to review.
Accuracy is critical; I will spot-check random entries. If you’re experienced with PDF data extraction, bank statement reconciliation, or accounting bookkeeping, this should be straightforward.
