Historical Instagram Follower Count Analysis

Job ID: 40081089

Budget: $10 – $30 AUD

Instagram Follower Growth Data Extraction (3-Year Daily History)

Project Description

I am looking for a freelancer who can provide historical Instagram follower growth data for a public media account.

The goal is to obtain a daily time-series dataset showing how the account’s follower count changed over time.

Many analytics platforms (e.g. SocialBlade, HypeAuditor, Ninjalitics, internal datasets) already store this data — I am looking for someone who already has access to such data and can export it.

Account Details
• Platform: Instagram
• Account: @theadelaideset
• Account type: Public media outlet

Data Required

For each day, over approximately the last 3 years (or as much history as available):
• Date
• Total follower count
• Followers gained that day
• Followers lost that day (or net change if losses aren’t separated)

Preferred format:
• CSV, Excel, or Google Sheets

Acceptable Data Sources

You may use any existing analytics source you already have access to, such as:
• SocialBlade (paid or internal access)
• HypeAuditor
• Ninjalitics
• Social media intelligence platforms
• Previously collected datasets
• Legitimate historical analytics exports

I am not asking you to hack, scrape Instagram illegally, or violate Instagram’s TOS.
This project is for data you already have legitimate access to.

Deliverables
• One spreadsheet (CSV/XLSX) containing the historical daily follower data
• Clear column labels
• Brief note explaining the data source used

Budget
• Open to proposals
• Expecting this to be cheaper than purchasing a full analytics subscription

Ideal Freelancer
• Social media analyst
• Data analyst with access to influencer analytics tools
• Marketing agency contractor
• Researcher who maintains historical social media datasets

Screening Question (Optional but Recommended)

Do you already have access to historical Instagram follower growth data (daily) for public accounts? If yes, which platform or dataset?
