High-Accuracy Financial Systems Monitor
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
Our live financial dashboards stream large volumes of market-critical numerical data 24/7. I need a remote operator who can keep a vigilant eye on these feeds, verify every incoming figure against predefined thresholds, and trigger an immediate alert whenever something drifts out of tolerance.
You’ll sit in front of the monitoring console I provide (web-based, similar in feel to a lightweight Bloomberg panel). Your routine will involve:
• Watching multiple price, volume, and risk metrics in real time.
• Cross-checking anomalies with a secondary data source I’ll also give access to.
• Filling out a concise incident report—timestamped, with a short description of the deviation and the action you took.
• Submitting a summarized end-of-shift log so I can audit overall system health and your response history.
Accuracy is paramount; one mistyped digit can cost us. Expect to handle exclusively numerical data, so a sharp eye for figures and strong concentration over extended periods are essential. The platform already aggregates the numbers; you simply ensure integrity and escalate when the numbers stop making sense.
Shift coverage will be agreed in advance, but reliability is non-negotiable—if you say you’re online, you’re online. Experience with any financial monitoring tool (Excel RTD, TradingView alerts, custom SQL dashboards, etc.) is a plus, but not mandatory as long as you learn fast.
Deliverables I expect from you:
1. Real-time alerts issued within two minutes of any threshold breach.
2. Complete incident reports for each alert, delivered immediately after resolution.
3. A daily summary log, submitted no later than 10 minutes after your shift ends.
If you thrive on numbers, precision, and quiet focus, you’ll fit right in.
