Health Papers Bias & Gap Review
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
Twenty peer-reviewed health-related papers (PDFs and citation files) are ready for a close examination. I need each article reviewed with three lenses in mind: pinpointing any methodological or interpretive bias, capturing the core findings in plain language, and flagging clear gaps that future studies could address.
Workflow
• Read and annotate every paper.
• For each one, complete a concise summary (≈150 words), a bias assessment (study design, sampling, analysis, funding/conflict of interest), and a short list of unanswered questions.
• Compile the results into a comparative matrix (Excel or Google Sheet) followed by a two-page narrative synthesis that weaves the patterns together.
Deliverables
1. Annotated PDFs (highlights & margin notes).
2. Summary / bias / gap matrix.
3. Narrative synthesis (doc or Google Doc).
Acceptance criteria
• All 20 papers covered; no section left blank.
• Bias observations supported with direct page or figure references.
• Narrative clearly distinguishes consensus, contradiction, and missing evidence.
When you submit your bid, include a brief but detailed project proposal outlining your approach, any systematic-review tools you prefer (e.g., Rayyan, Zotero, NVivo), and the expected turnaround time.
