Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Analyst specializing in international affairs with a focus on U.S. foreign relations. The ideal candidate will have a clearly defined and sustained research focus in international affairs, and possess the ability to conduct systematic, long-term tracking and analysis within that area.

Qualifications:
1. Demonstrated and well-defined research focus
Must have a clearly established and sustained research focus in at least one area of international affairs (e.g., U.S.–China, U.S.–Japan, U.S.–Taiwan relations) and the ability to conduct long-term, systematic tracking and analysis within that domain.

2. Strong analytical capability in complex international issues
Ability to systematically deconstruct and synthesize multi-dimensional international issues; capable of distinguishing between official signals, media narratives, and underlying strategic intent, and producing well-reasoned, evidence-based analysis.

3. Capability for forward-looking assessment and trend analysis
Ability to assess the likely trajectory and future development of events, identify key variables and trigger points, and move beyond static analysis toward dynamic, forward-looking judgment.

4. Capacity for sustained issue tracking and proactive research
Ability to continuously monitor the evolution of key issues, proactively identify emerging variables in the international landscape, and develop new research topics with forward-looking relevance and policy significance.
