GIS and Econometrics Analyst Needed
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I need a data analyst experienced in GIS and econometrics to process the UK Land Registry Price Paid Data from 2019–2022 and evaluate the impact of the London ULEZ expansion in October 2021 on residential property prices.
Key Tasks:
- Filter for owner-occupied residential transactions
- Merge data with ULEZ boundary and LSOA shapefiles from government database
- Create treatment and control groups
- Apply Difference-in-Differences (DiD) analysis
- Produce:
- Descriptive statistics (summary statistics only)
- Regression tables
- Time series plots
- LSOA heat maps
- Deliver results and visualisations in Word and Excel
Deliverables:
- Cleaned dataset
- DiD regression results
- Graphs and maps
- Brief written interpretation of results
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in QGIS
- Strong background in econometrics and DiD analysis
