Full-Stack Developer for Travel Data Debugging

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer with expertise in web scraping and data analysis to help fix errors in an integrated travel website. The website consolidates data from five different travel agencies into a unified view, providing users with comprehensive travel-related information. The project has already been built, but some errors in the resulting data are currently hindering the data analysis process. The task is to identify, debug, and correct these errors to ensure accurate and reliable data is presented.
Responsibilities:
Fix errors in data integration: Review the data gathering and analysis process to identify and correct errors that are preventing proper analysis.
Debug web scraping logic: Ensure the web scraping code accurately pulls data from all five travel agencies and presents it correctly in the unified structure.
Verify data accuracy: After fixing the errors, ensure that all data presented in the website is accurate and correctly reflects the information from the respective travel agencies.
Collaborate on requirements: Discuss specific requirements and understand the nature of the data discrepancies before implementing fixes.
Key Skills Required:
Web Scraping: Experience in web scraping frameworks (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium).
Data Analysis: Ability to work with data structures, data cleaning, and presentation. Familiarity with Pandas or similar tools is a plus.
Backend Development: Proficiency in backend technologies (e.g., Python, Node.js) to handle web scraping and data processing.
Frontend Development: Experience with frontend technologies (e.g., React, HTML/CSS, JavaScript) to present data in a user-friendly format.
Database Management: Knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) for managing and querying collected data.
