Finish DiD Research Analysis

Job ID: 40298470

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

The paper is already outlined and the dataset—purely observational—has been cleaned and is ready to load into R. What remains is the core empirical work: applying a Difference-in-Differences strategy, interpreting the findings, and writing up the Results and Discussion sections so they flow naturally with the rest of the manuscript.

Scope of work
You will run the DiD models in R (base, tidyverse, or data.table workflows are all fine) and include any necessary robustness checks or placebo tests. Once the estimates are solid, weave the numbers, tables, and plots into a coherent narrative that completes both the Results and the Discussion, linking back to the hypotheses already laid out in the introduction.

Deliverables
• Reproducible R script or R Markdown file with all code and comments
• Clean output: model tables, figures, and any supplemental diagnostics
• Polished prose for the Results and Discussion sections, seamlessly integrated into the existing draft (≈2,500 – 3,000 words)
• Brief change log so I can track edits in the manuscript

Acceptance criteria
• Code runs end-to-end on my machine without missing packages or paths
• DiD assumptions (parallel trends, common shocks) addressed in text and diagnostics
• Tables and figures formatted to journal style guidelines I’ll supply

Everything else—intro, theory, and methodology framing—is already in place, so once these pieces are done the paper will be ready for submission.
