Financial Excel Data Cleanup & Organization

I have several messy Excel workbooks that contain crucial financial data. My immediate goal is to eliminate all duplicate records, correct any obvious errors, and reorganize each sheet so the information is consistent and easy to analyse.

Here’s what I need from you:
• Scrub the data for duplicates, then remove them safely without losing unique records.
• Audit the financial figures to spot and fix anomalies—things like typo-driven outliers, misplaced decimals, or values sitting in the wrong columns.
• Bring uniformity to dates, currency formats, and any other inconsistent cell styling so every column sorts and filters correctly.
• Restructure the sheets if necessary—clear headings, frozen panes, logical tab order—so future look-ups and pivots are effortless.
• Return a polished, ready-for-analysis workbook along with a brief change log explaining what you adjusted and why.

You’re welcome to use built-in Excel tools, Power Query, or lightweight VBA—whatever you’re fastest with—as long as the final file opens cleanly in the latest Microsoft 365 version.
