Financial Data Trend Analysis
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I have a collection of Excel/CSV files that cover multiple reporting periods and contain our core financial metrics. My goal is to surface the underlying trends—revenue growth, expense patterns, margin shifts, and any other notable movements hidden in the numbers—so I can make evidence-based strategic decisions.
The work begins with cleaning and consolidating the spreadsheets, then moves into exploratory analysis. From there, I need clear visualisations and a concise narrative that explains what the data is saying in plain language. Python (pandas, matplotlib, seaborn) or R are all fine; if you prefer Power BI, Tableau, or even advanced Excel with pivot charts, that works as long as the end result is reproducible.
Deliverables
• A cleaned, well-documented master dataset
• Interactive or static charts that highlight key financial trends
• A brief written report (PDF or slide deck) summarising insights and recommendations
• All scripts or workbooks so I can rerun the analysis when new data arrives
Acceptance criteria
• Trend calculations match raw figures when spot-checked
• Visuals render correctly on a standard Windows laptop without extra setup
• I can update the source files and regenerate the analysis with minimal effort
