Financial Data Analysis in Excel
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I work mostly in Excel and now need a fresh pair of eyes to turn raw numbers into clear financial insights. The work centres on analysing my existing spreadsheets, applying the right formulas, and presenting results that help me understand profitability, trends, and any red flags hiding in the data.
Here’s what I expect:
• Clean-up or restructure of the current workbooks where necessary
• Accurate financial analysis using Excel’s native tools—pivot tables, advanced functions, scenario or sensitivity modelling where it adds value
• Concise charts or dashboards that communicate the key findings at a glance
• A short write-up (or comments within the sheet) explaining how you arrived at each metric so I can maintain the file myself later
Everything stays in Excel; no external software is required. If you prefer Power Query, Power Pivot, or VBA to speed things up, that’s perfectly fine as long as the final file opens and runs smoothly in the latest desktop version of Microsoft 365.
I’ll share the spreadsheets once we agree on milestones and timing. Let me know your typical turnaround time for this scope and a brief outline of how you’d tackle financial analysis projects like mine.
