Extract Invoice Totals Accurately
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a batch of paper invoices—all from the same supplier—that were scanned to images and PDFs. None of them are searchable yet, so each one needs a manual check. On every file the figure I care about is the one clearly labeled “Total Amount.”
Here is what I need from you:
• Open every scan, find the “Total Amount” value, and copy it exactly as shown—currency symbol or code included—into a spreadsheet.
• Column A: the exact file name.
• Column B: the captured total.
If any page is so blurry that you cannot read the figure with confidence, log that file on a separate tab, add a brief note such as “unreadable” or “needs rescan,” and move on.
I will spot-check several entries, so accuracy has to be 100 % on the readable files. Finish this first batch well and I will have a fresh set of invoices for you each month.
