Excel Workbook Cleanup & Optimization
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a single, fairly large Excel workbook that has grown messy over time. I need it cleaned up, re-structured, and made far easier to read and maintain. Your job is to go through every sheet, fix the data issues, tighten up the formulas, and leave me with a file I can hand to anyone on my team with confidence.
Here is what I’m expecting:
• Data in every table must be de-duplicated, error-free, and consistently formatted.
• Key lookups and conditional logic—VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, IF, SUMIFS, and similar—should be reviewed, corrected where necessary, and simplified if a smarter approach exists.
• Headings, cell styles, conditional formatting, and overall layout need to be refined so the workbook looks clean and the critical numbers stand out.
• Cross-sheet links have to remain intact and accurate; no broken references when you are done.
• If you spot an opportunity for a quick pivot table or summary sheet that will help me see the story in the data faster, please build it in.
Deliverables are straightforward: the revised workbook and a brief change log so I know what was touched.
