I have several Excel workbooks that have accumulated duplicate rows and a mix of data-entry issues. Your task is to give me clean, analysis-ready files.
What needs to happen
• Remove every duplicate row so each record is unique.
• Fix incorrect data entries (e.g., numbers saved as text, swapped digits, obvious typos).
• Standardise formatting issues:
– Dates must read YYYY-MM-DD throughout.
– Text columns should follow one consistent case style (sentence or title case—let’s agree before you start).
Please work in Microsoft Excel; Power Query or VBA is fine if it speeds things up, but I’m happy with any repeatable method that guarantees accuracy. When you’re done, send back the cleaned workbooks plus a short change log noting what you altered and any values you flagged for review.
