Excel Sales Forecast & Data Entry
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I have several months of historical sales figures that first need to be transferred—accurately and without formatting issues—into a clean Excel workbook. Once the data is in place, the real goal is to build a predictive model that can forecast future trends from those numbers.
The workflow I have in mind is straightforward:
• Enter and verify the raw sales data, keeping existing IDs, dates, and product descriptions intact.
• Clean and structure the sheet so it’s analytics-ready (think consistent date formats, no hidden duplicates, clear headers).
• Apply Excel’s built-in forecasting tools—FORECAST.ETS, Data Analysis Toolpak, or a method you prefer—so I can see projected sales for the upcoming periods.
• Visualise the results with easy-to-read charts or dashboards right inside the file.
Deliverables I will review:
1. A single, well-organized .xlsx file containing separate tabs for raw data, cleaned data, and forecast output.
2. A brief, in-sheet note summarising the modelling approach and any assumptions made.
If you’re comfortable combining meticulous data entry with predictive analytics on historical sales data, I’m ready to get started immediately.
