Excel Sales Data Analysis & Visualization
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
I’m handing over a single Excel workbook that contains our sales records and I need it transformed into a clean, insightful report I can trust and share. The file needs three things:
• Data cleaning – remove duplicates, fix obvious entry errors, standardise dates and product names, and structure the sheet so formulas and look-ups work flawlessly.
• Data visualisation – clear, presentation-ready charts and dashboards that highlight revenue trends, product performance, and regional comparisons. Everything should refresh automatically when I drop in updated numbers.
• Statistical analysis – summary statistics, correlations and any simple regression or forecasting techniques you consider appropriate to reveal what’s really driving sales.
I’m comfortable with Excel-native tools such as Power Query, PivotTables and Power Pivot, but I don’t mind if you lean on add-ins provided the final workbook stays self-contained and easy for a non-technical manager to maintain.
Please document the steps you take (short inline notes or a separate sheet) so I can follow the logic and replicate the process next quarter. Once you’re done, I’ll review the cleaned data and the visuals; if everything updates smoothly with a new sample file, we’re good to sign off.
