Excel Sales Data Analysis
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m finishing an Excel course and my final assignment is to turn a raw sales dataset into a clear, insightful analysis. I already have the data; what I need is a well-structured workbook that shows exactly what’s happening with our sales and why.
Here’s what I expect to receive:
• A cleaned and properly formatted data sheet (no duplicates, consistent date and currency formats).
• PivotTables and PivotCharts that let me slice results by product, region and time period without breaking.
• A compact dashboard on a separate tab summarising key findings with conditional-format highlights and interactive slicers.
• Brief, inline comments or a short notes tab explaining any formulas, Power Query steps or assumptions so the project is easy for my instructor to follow.
Everything must be done in Microsoft Excel; feel free to use Power Query, dynamic arrays or any other native tools you think suit the task. Keep the file self-contained—no external links or macros that require special permissions.
I’ll mark the work complete once the dashboard refreshes correctly when I change the underlying data and the layout reads clearly for someone reviewing it for the first time.
