Excel SUMIFS Dynamic Range

I’m looking for a clean, reusable way to make the SUM range inside a SUMIFS formula shift automatically in Microsoft Excel whenever my start-date or end-date cells change. The records are laid out by date, so the only criteria that matters is the Date range; everything else can stay as-is. I already use standard SUMIFS, but the static sum_range is forcing me to rewrite the formula every month.

What I need from you is a working approach—INDEX, OFFSET, dynamic named ranges, or an Excel Table solution—that keeps the sheet fast and easy to audit. Please return a sample workbook (or a clearly annotated formula) showing:

• cells where I input the From and To dates
• the dynamic SUMIFS that responds instantly when those dates change
• a short note explaining how the range is built so I can maintain it later

As long as the total updates correctly for any date interval I test, the task is complete.
