Excel Progress Dashboard Creation
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have several Excel workbooks tracking quantities and completion percentages for electrical, structural, and civil works. I want all of that information brought together in a single Microsoft Excel file that uses pivot tables to feed clear, professional-looking progress charts and graphs for each discipline.
The raw data will stay in Excel format, and I’m fine opening the file and pressing Refresh whenever I add new numbers, so there is no need to wire up automated or real-time connections. What matters to me is that the dashboard quickly shows current totals, variances, and percentage complete in a format that management can understand at a glance.
Key deliverables
• One consolidated Excel workbook containing:
– Separate raw-data sheets (or linked ranges) for electrical, structural, and civil inputs
– Pivot tables summarising each discipline’s progress
– Dynamic charts/graphs (e.g., stacked bar, line, or gauge—use what best tells the story) driven by those pivots
• Slicers or other simple filters so we can view progress by date, work package, or contractor
• Clean, labelled layout with consistent colour coding for the three disciplines
• A brief set of in-file notes or a short video walkthrough explaining how to add new rows of data and refresh the visuals
