Excel Pivot Table Creation

I have an Excel workbook that needs to be transformed into a clear, dynamic pivot table. The raw data is already cleaned and organised in a single sheet; what I need now is a concise summary that lets me drill down into key trends at a glance.

Here’s what I’m after:
• Build a robust pivot table directly inside the existing Excel file.
• Configure the rows, columns and values so I can toggle between different views (for example by date, category or region) without breaking anything.
• Insert the common calculations a business user expects—sums, averages, counts and similar metrics—so I’m not stuck adding formulas later.
• Make sure all fields refresh correctly when new records are appended.
• Keep the layout user-friendly: slicers, clear labels and, if it adds clarity, a short note explaining any calculated fields you create.

Acceptance will be simple: I open the workbook, hit Refresh All and instantly see figures updating in the pivot table with no errors or broken links.
